Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Meat mallet or rolling pin
  • Meat thermometer
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness.
  2. Pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix all seasonings in a small bowl.
  4. Rub chicken with olive oil, then coat evenly with seasoning mix.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 2 minutes.
  6. Place chicken in basket in a single layer, not touching.
  7. Air fry according to thickness chart, flipping halfway.
  8. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  9. Rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Notes: Adjust cayenne to control spice level. A thermometer removes almost all the guesswork here, and it's worth the small investment if you cook chicken often.
